What you'll do
- •Coordinate and support the monthly accounting close for multiple LATAM entities, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.
- •Review accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- •Perform variance analysis and review financial results to identify unusual movements, investigate discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights.
- •Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all key accounts are reconciled and supported by appropriate documentation.
- •Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and tax requirements across LATAM jurisdictions.
- •Collaborate with external accounting partners, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely resolution of accounting matters.
- •Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- •Review financial data for accuracy and completeness before it is finalized in the General Ledger.
- •Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and support automation initiatives.
- •Provide technical guidance and support to junior accounting team members, helping maintain high-quality accounting standards across the team.
