Description
What you'll do
- •Provide accounting services for clients, including month-end close support, A/P and A/R management, journal entries, account reconciliations, and help with financial statement preparation.
- •Work on engagement teams and support managers on small to mid-size private company management throughout the financial operations, close and reporting cycles.
- •Take part in various projects and collaborate with client personnel at every stage of the accounting, internal control, and financial reporting process—from implementation and closure to audit readiness and beyond.
- •Work with senior consultants to evaluate client accounting platforms and processes, help develop cross-domain solutions including AI and automation, and implement them to surpass client expectations.
- •Be a contributing member to the team, soaking up information and competently analysing and prioritizing information to make appropriate recommendations and suggest solutions.
- •Participate in special projects for our clients that provide further growth and learning experiences, as needed.
Requirements
- •Audit background or equivalent training in performing full financial statement preparation.
- •BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
- •A desire to pursue your CPA, Chartered Accountant, or similar designation.
- •Minimum 3 years experience in public accounting and/or industry as part of an accounting function.
- •Demonstrated AI skills and innovation through recent hands-on case studies.
- •Experience with data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting, and customization within various ERP systems.
- •Experience using QuickBooks, Intacct, NetSuite, and/or other accounting platforms.
- •Working knowledge of Bill.com, Ramp, Expensify, and/or Concur is a plus.
- •Demonstrated leadership experience.
- •Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- •Able to work with multiple clients and projects concurrently.
- •Ability to synthesize all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables.
- •An intermediate level of confidence in US GAAP or IFRS is required.
