Overview
Xsolla is seeking an AI Prototyping Expert (UI/UX) to design and prototype AI-assisted product solutions, build interactive prototypes, and collaborate closely with engineers. This remote, full-time position offers a salary range of $85,000 β $130,000 USD. Xsolla is a global video game commerce company that provides a comprehensive suite of tools and services to help game developers and publishers succeed in the gaming industry.
Responsibilities
- β’AI-Assisted Prototyping & Vibe Coding
Build interactive prototypes and design explorations using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Framer, or similar) β reaching for code as your primary creative tool. Design and prototype AI-assisted product solutions (agents, copilots, generation and automation tools) together with product and engineering. Build and iterate prompt β flow β result pipelines; contribute reusable prompt patterns and workflow libraries. Use no-/low-code tooling (Webflow, Retool, Zapier) where possible to reduce dependency on core engineering. Move prototypes to production in close collaboration with engineers, ensuring smooth handoff and feasibility.
- β’UI/UX Design
Turn ideas into clear UX flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups in Figma when needed. Bring strong visual and interaction design craft to everything you build β hierarchy, clarity, motion, and micro-interactions. Create partner-facing materials: product presentations, landing pages, one-pagers, and infographics for go-to-market and integrations.
- β’Discovery, Research & Experimentation
Contribute to discovery: interviews, JTBD, surveys, CJMs, and help translate insights into product decisions. Validate solutions and hypotheses through quick tests and experiments. Collaborate with analytics to define success metrics and interpret experiment results.
- β’Monetization UX
Translate monetization and growth ideas into concrete prototypes, UX changes, and experiments. Design and iterate flows for D2C, in-app/F2P, and LiveOps scenarios (shops, offers, bundles, events).
- β’Bridge Business β Design β Tech
Translate business problems and partner needs into clear artifacts: flows, specs, clickable prototypes, and simple documentation. Work closely with engineers to ensure feasibility and a smooth path from prototype to production. Contribute to internal standards for AI-assisted workflows, UX quality, and visual consistency (without direct people-management).
Nice to Have
- β’Strong track record of designing and shipping D2C and F2P / in-app monetization experiences (shops, checkouts, promotions, LiveOps).
- β’Experience in the gaming industry or working with game developers / publishers.
- β’Ability to write functional front-end code (HTML/CSS/JS/React) to build prototypes independently.
- β’Deep craft in interaction design, motion, and design systems; experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.
- β’Broad understanding of modern product architecture (APIs, clientβserver patterns, microservices, cloud).
- β’Experience with no-code / low-code tools such as Webflow, Retool, Zapier, or similar.
- β’Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
- β’Familiarity with growth design principles (conversion optimisation, funnel analysis, pricing presentation).
Qualifications & Skills
- β’5β7+ years in product design, UX/UI, or a hybrid design-engineering role.
- β’Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or similar) β you use these to build and prototype, not just explore ideas.
- β’A genuine passion for vibe coding and AI-assisted prototyping; someone actively building this muscle, not just aware of it.
- β’Confident in Figma for UX flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity design when required.
- β’Proven AI production experience: building prompt + workflow pipelines and shipping automated or AI-assisted flows into real use.
- β’Strong UI skills: visual clarity, hierarchy, attention to detail, and the ability to make prototypes feel polished.
- β’Strong UX thinking: flows, structure, consistency, and edge cases β able to design connected product experiences, not just individual screens.
- β’Research skills: experience contributing to discovery (interviews, JTBD, CJM), usability tests, and surveys.
- β’Analytics & experiments: comfortable framing hypotheses, reading A/B-test results, and connecting UX changes to business metrics.
- β’Strong written and verbal communication in English β able to align stakeholders around your solutions.
