Description
What youβll do
- β’**Own the end-to-end build** of internal AI tools and automations: requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, design, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
- β’**Translate ambiguity into product** β distill a team's needs into a coherent plan and present it back to stakeholders in a way that gets buy-in.
- β’**Build on a shared substrate** β contribute to the common TypeScript layer that internal AI tools at LI.FI are built on, so your work compounds with everyone else's.
- β’**Close collaboration with business teams** β sit with BD, ops, legal, HR, finance, marketing, or customer service to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI leverage.
- β’**Think holistically** β over time, help shape LI.FI's overall internal AI strategy rather than shipping isolated one-off automations.
- β’**Work cross-functionally** β collaborate with shared resources such as DevOps and Security through our standard prioritization workflow.
What youβll get
- β’Annual team offsites (Thailand in 2023, Vietnam in 2024, Marrakech in 2025, Crete in 2026; memories we'll never forget. Already dreaming about where 2027 will take us!)

- β’Flexible remote days
- β’Flexible working hours
- β’Equity participation from day 1
- β’Entitlement to work computer (choice of equipment)
- β’An annual 1,000β¬ personal development budget once you have worked 6+ months (pro-rated the first year)
- β’A one-time 1,000β¬ remote budget to use on coworking, office setup, etc. *If you join us as an independent contractor, youβre only entitled to the first five benefits of this list.* *This role is engaged via employer of record (EOR) or independent contractor arrangement.*
Requirements
What weβre looking for
#### Must-haves
- β’**TypeScript proficiency** β this is our minimum technical bar, since you will be contributing to our shared substrate layer.
- β’**Demonstrable, AI-native engineering experience** β work we can actually look at. GitHub projects, open source contributions, or working implementations using LLM tooling, agent libraries, or AI frameworks.
- β’**DevOps & Security:** knowledge and understanding of best practices and foreseeable challenges.
- β’**Drive and curiosity** β someone who builds things on their own time, not because they were assigned to.
- β’**Structured independence** β able to manage projects end-to-end without hand-holding, while staying coordinated with stakeholders.
- β’**Growth mindset** β we are hiring for trajectory, not credentials. We care more about how you think and learn than about the brand of your CV.
- β’**Strong written and verbal communication** β you will be the bridge between business stakeholders and AI capabilities.
#### Nice-to-haves
- β’**Crypto, DeFi, or Web3 background** β enough context to quickly understand LI.FI's mission, customers, and ecosystem.
- β’**Experience shipping production AI systems** β even small ones β with attention to evaluation, reliability, and cost.
- β’**Exposure to internal tooling or BPM work** β you have automated workflows for non-technical teammates before.
