Backend Developer (Middle/Senior)

Join VkusVill as a Backend Developer to design and maintain a high-load backend for our corporate portal using Python and FastAPI. Work with databases and monitoring tools in a dynamic environment.

• •Develop and maintain a high-load backend for the corporate portal using Python and FastAPI (async/await, dependency injection, middleware);
• •Design schemas and work with PostgreSQL (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL), as well as object storage (S3). Integrate local LLMs, work with the vector storage Qdrant and the search engine OpenSearch;
• •Set up observability tools (OTEL, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana) for debugging distributed systems. Work with Docker, Nginx, and set up CI/CD pipelines in GitLab;
• •Design fault-tolerant APIs, participate in Code Review, and maintain a high standard of code quality.

• •Key stack: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AI/LLM, Qdrant.
• •Core: deep knowledge of Python and the FastAPI framework: async/await, dependency injection, middleware.
• •Databases: experience in designing schemas and working with PostgreSQL, SQL, and MongoDB NoSQL, knowledge of object storage S3;
• •AI & Search: experience in integrating local LLMs, working with vector storages Qdrant and search engines OpenSearch;
• •Observability: experience in setting up and using monitoring tools OTEL, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana for debugging distributed systems;
• •DevOps: confident working with Docker, Nginx, setting up CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• •Level: Middle from 3 years, Senior from 5 years; ability to design fault-tolerant APIs.
