Overview
Join Plata as a Junior Business Analyst in the Bring a Friend team, focusing on multi-product referral strategies. Collaborate across teams to launch campaigns and analyze results in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a Business Junior Analyst to join the Bring a Friend (BAF) team β one of Plataβs key acquisition channels. BAF is a multi-product referral engine covering personal link sharing, ambassador-driven contacts, and telesales follow-ups across Credit, Debit, Empresa, and Invest. The team works in a fast-paced environment with a bi-weekly promo cycle, regular A/B tests, and continuous product improvements.
Responsibilities
- β’Coordinate the setup and launch of bi-weekly promotional campaigns across push, SMS, WhatsApp, and email
- β’Work with campaign tools to set up communications, landing pages, and A/B tests
- β’Collaborate with designers and editors to prepare campaign materials and ensure everything is ready for launch
- β’Gather and structure business requirements for new features and promotional mechanics
- β’Turn business needs into clear user stories, use cases, CJMs, and acceptance criteria
- β’Support features throughout the delivery cycle, from requirements and design to refinement and release
- β’Keep customer support scripts, back-office instructions, and notification documentation up to date
- β’Monitor campaign launches and verify that communications and promotional mechanics work as expected
- β’Use basic data analysis to evaluate campaign results, identify issues, and support business decisions

Requirements
- β’Strong analytical and structured thinking with great attention to detail
- β’Basic SQL knowledge, including SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, and GROUP BY
- β’Ability to turn ambiguous business requests into clear requirements and actionable tasks
- β’Ability to write clear user stories, briefs, and acceptance criteria
- β’Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- β’Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and drive them to completion
- β’Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and coordinating tasks across teams
Bonus Skills
- β’Experience in fintech, marketplaces, e-commerce, or other fast-paced product businesses
- β’Basic understanding of A/B testing and experimentation
- β’Experience with campaign automation, CRM, notification, or back-office tools
- β’Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- β’Basic understanding of unit economics and key business metrics such as CAC and LTV
- β’Experience working with customer support or operational processes
