• •Write quick-turn blog posts that break down the news of the day.
• •Collaborate with subject-matter experts to document criminal crypto activity.
• •Contribute to our biannual flagship reports on crypto crime and the global on-chain economy.
• •Develop long-term content ideas alongside our Research and Marketing teams.
• •Investigate complex trends across DeFi and mainstream crypto adoption.
• •Use Chainalysis' investigative tools to strengthen your storytelling.
• •Own the accuracy of your work from sourcing to publication.

• •3+ years of professional writing experience, ideally in a newsroom or comparable editorial environment.
• •Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial, technical, or regulatory topics in plain language — without buzzwords.
• •Working knowledge of the crypto industry, including how blockchains, exchanges, DeFi protocols and stablecoins function in practice.
• •Experience adapting tone and voice for distinct audiences (e.g., policymakers, compliance professionals, general readers).
• •A bachelor's degree in a writing-intensive field (journalism, English, communications, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.

• •Comfort navigating a block explorer.
• •Experience writing SQL or similar queries.
• •Experience growing an audience on social media for a brand or publication.
