Data Scientist

OZON is looking for a Data Scientist to develop and enhance computer vision models and optimize algorithms for production environments.

• •Develop and improve computer vision models (detection, classification, tracking, segmentation).
• •Select algorithms and approaches for applied tasks, conduct experiments, and evaluate model quality.
• •Optimize models and algorithms for efficient and fast operation on large data volumes in production.
• •Design and optimize inference pipelines, including real-time scenarios.
• •Develop ML services and work with microservice architecture (Python).
• •Analyze solution performance and identify bottlenecks - from models to infrastructure.
• •Work with video streams and create high-load data processing systems.
• •Collaborate with engineers and developers at all stages - from research to production.

• •Higher education in mathematics, computer science, or related technical disciplines.
• •Proficient knowledge of Python and experience in industrial development.
• •Practical experience in Computer Vision or Machine Learning.
• •Understanding of classical CV algorithms and modern ML approaches.
• •Knowledge of key model quality metrics and validation methods.
• •Strong algorithmic foundation (data structures, complexity assessment).
• •Skills in writing clean, maintainable code and working with Git.
