## What you'll do

  • Developing and executing Circle’s European payments partnership strategy.
  • Driving revenue growth and measurable OKRs tied to transaction volume and product adoption.
  • Owning the full deal lifecycle: sourcing, qualification, business case development, structuring, negotiation, and closure.
  • Expanding USDC and EURC adoption in cross-border payments, treasury flows, merchant settlement, and embedded finance use cases.
  • Structuring bespoke partnerships that integrate Circle’s APIs and infrastructure.
  • Partnering with Product, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Engineering.
  • Leading executive-level conversations with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Building long-term ecosystem value by identifying scalable distribution channels.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership roles.
  • 7+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or financial infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of European payments ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of structuring and closing complex deals.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ownership of revenue targets.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong executive communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe (30–50% seasonally).

Preferred:

  • Experience navigating regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, or stablecoins.
