Description

Join Hashgraph as a Director of Technical Product Management to lead the roadmap for Hedera's core protocol and developer platform, ensuring cohesive product evolution and ecosystem adoption.

Hashgraph is a fast-growing software company committed to supporting, developing and servicing Hedera, an open source, proof-of-stake platform.

Hedera is EVM-compatible and has been specifically built to meet the needs of enterprise and web3 applications, which require speed, security, stability and sustainability.

Hedera’s public network is governed by industry-leading organizations, spanning 11 sectors and 14 regions who oversee the development and direction of the decentralized platform.

## What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap across core Hedera services (HTS, Smart Contracts/EVM, Consensus, SDKs, Mirror Nodes)
  • Partner directly with Engineering Managers and architects to co-author design docs and HIPs
  • Drive product development from concept → prototype → production → iteration
  • Operate in an open-source model: triage GitHub issues, engage contributors, and shape public roadmaps
  • Translate real-world developer feedback into product requirements and prioritized execution
  • Ensure production readiness across releases: backward compatibility, security coordination, and launch quality
  • Elevate developer experience through documentation, SDK improvements, and ecosystem engagement

Requirements

  • Deep technical product thinking across distributed systems, APIs, or blockchain
  • Ability to operate as a technical peer to senior engineers and architects
  • Strong product judgment: prioritization, tradeoffs, and system-level decision making
  • Bias toward action — comfortable prototyping, testing, and iterating quickly
  • Ability to translate complex systems into clear product direction
  • APIs, SDKs, and backend platform design
  • Distributed systems concepts (consensus, state, transactions, performance)
  • Developer platforms and infrastructure products
  • Open-source product development and community engagement
  • Writing technical specs (RFCs, HIPs, design docs)
