## What you'll do

• •Act as the electrical SME across utility-scale solar and BESS projects
• •Review and validate designs from consultants and EPC contractors
• •Ensure systems are compliant, fit for purpose, and aligned with project requirements
• •Provide technical challenge to optimise performance and reliability
• •Review grid connection agreements and ensure DNO/TSO compliance
• •Oversee and validate grid studies conducted by third parties
• •Ensure compliance with UK Grid Code, G99/G100, and relevant standards
• •Provide electrical support from development through commissioning
• •Act as key interface between internal teams and EPC contractors
• •Support site activities including construction, energisation, and commissioning
• •Collaborate with development, construction, and asset management teams

• •4–8+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the power or renewable energy sector
• •Experience working on utility-scale solar, BESS, or power infrastructure projects
• •Strong understanding of MV/HV systems, substations, and grid connection infrastructure
• •Familiarity with UK grid connection processes and standards (DNO/TSO, Grid Code, G99/G100)
• •Experience reviewing electrical studies (load flow, fault level, protection coordination)
• •Exposure to commissioning and energisation of electrical systems
• •Ability to review and challenge third-party engineering deliverables
• •Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance requirements
