What you'll do

  • β€’Own and drive the backend architecture for all growth-related platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and flexibility.
  • β€’Lead the engineering efforts on Campaign, Task, Reward platform, Lead Management and CRM Infrastructure.
  • β€’Lead and mentor backend engineering teams across multiple growth verticals, promoting best practices and high-quality code delivery.
  • β€’Collaborate with Growth Product Managers, Marketing, Data, and BI teams to translate growth strategies into robust backend solutions.
  • β€’Oversee system integration with third-party marketing, analytics, and automation platforms.
  • β€’Establish engineering excellence standards for code quality, observability, automation, security, and performance.
  • β€’Identify and implement new technologies and frameworks to improve the effectiveness of growth engineering.

Requirements

  • β€’Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • β€’10+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership role in growth or marketing technology teams.
  • β€’Proven experience leading backend engineering for growth systems such as campaign, task, reward, referral programs or affiliate programs stacks.
  • β€’Deep hands-on experience with micro-services, distributed systems, data pipelines, and API development.
  • β€’Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and modern backend architectures.
  • β€’Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems (CRM, ad tracking, attribution, affiliate management platforms).
  • β€’Experience working closely with Growth, Marketing, and Data teams to enable data-driven growth strategies.
  • β€’Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
