Engineering Manager - ZEOS Portal (all genders)

Join as an Engineering Manager for the ZEOS Portal, leading a team to build a seamless B2B interface within the Zalando ecosystem. Focus on frontend and backend integration, team development, and operational excellence. The ZEOS B2B Portal is the face of our platform, serving as the central gateway for partners to manage their business within the Zalando ecosystem. As the Engineering Manager for the Portal and Portal Application team, you will lead the engineers responsible for building a seamless, high-performance, and intuitive user interface that unifies complex B2B services.

• •Lead Full-Stack Strategy: Help shape a scalable and modular portal architecture across both frontend and backend layers.
• •Empower and Grow Talent: Hire and develop a diverse team of 10 engineers (5 frontend, 5 backend).
• •Bridge Design and Engineering: Work in close partnership with Product and UX Design leads.
• •Own the Portal Infrastructure: Take responsibility for the portal's backend infrastructure and services.
• •Champion Operational Health: Take full ownership of the portal's stability, frontend and backend.
• •Navigate Architectural Choices: Provide the technical perspective needed to guide decisions around Micro Frontends (MFE).
• •Foster Smooth Delivery: Act as a catalyst for Agile best practices.
