Client Service & Technical Leadership

  • •Manage fiduciary accounting engagements for trusts, estates, conservatorships, and guardianships.
  • •Review fiduciary accountings, trustee reports, and supporting schedules.
  • •Interpret trust documents and apply fiduciary accounting principles.
  • •Work directly with trustees, beneficiaries, attorneys, family offices, and other advisors.
  • •Identify and resolve complex accounting and administration issues.
  • •Ensure work products meet firm quality standards and applicable court requirements.

Team Leadership

  • •Supervise, coach, and develop team members located in both the U.S. and India.
  • •Review work and provide meaningful feedback and guidance.
  • •Manage engagement budgets, staffing, workflow, and deadlines.
  • •Assist in developing processes, training materials, and best practices.
  • •Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture in a remote environment.

Practice Development

  • •Build relationships with attorneys, trustees, and referral sources.
  • •Participate in networking and business development activities.
  • •Identify opportunities to expand services for existing clients.
  • •Contribute to the continued growth and evolution of BPM's Fiduciary Accounting Services practice.

Required

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • •7+ years of fiduciary accounting, trust administration, estate administration, or related experience.
  • •Experience preparing and reviewing fiduciary accountings.
  • •Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • •Experience supervising and mentoring staff.
  • •Exceptional client service and communication skills.
  • •Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

  • •CPA designation.
  • •Experience with California fiduciary accountings and California Probate Code requirements.
  • •Public accounting or professional services experience.
  • •Experience working with offshore or distributed teams.
  • •Existing relationships within the trust and estate community.
