Join Coinhako as a Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment. Work on financial operations and reporting while developing a solid grounding in finance fundamentals. We are looking for motivated individuals to join Coinhako as a Finance Intern in 2026. This internship is designed to give students meaningful, hands-on exposure to the finance function within a fast-moving fintech environment. You will work closely with the team on day-to-day operations, gaining practical insight into the processes and workflows that keep a financial services business running. By the end of your internship, you will come away with a solid grounding in finance fundamentals and a clearer picture of what a career in this space looks like.
What you'll be doing
- β’Financial Record Keeping
- β’Maintain the general ledger and accounting records
- β’Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- β’Process journal entries and account adjustments
- β’Maintain supporting schedules and documentation
- β’Accounts Payable & Receivable
- β’Review and process supplier invoices and payments
- β’Monitor customer receivables and follow up on outstanding balances
- β’Perform vendor and customer reconciliations
- β’Month-End & Year-End Closing
- β’Prepare month-end closing journals and reconciliations
- β’Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and key balance sheet accounts
- β’Investigate and resolve reconciling items
- β’Support year-end financial closing and audit processes
- β’Financial Reporting
- β’Prepare management accounts and financial reports
- β’Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements
- β’Fintech / Digital Asset Operations
- β’Reconcile digital asset balances across wallets, exchanges, and custodians
- β’Perform daily and month-end Asset-Liability Management (ALM) reconciliations
- β’Prepare mark-to-market valuations for digital assets
- β’Reconcile customer asset segregation accounts
- β’Monitor settlement positions with liquidity providers and counterparties
- β’Support MAS regulatory reporting and capital calculations
- β’Investigate blockchain transaction discrepancies and operational breaks
- β’Prepare crypto-specific audit schedules and impairment assessments
- β’Support system implementation and other ad-hoc project work
