Overview
Join our team as a Financial Operations & Automation Specialist to manage accounting functions and optimize financial processes in a hybrid role based in Cyprus. We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy specialist to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will manage core accounting functions (AP/AR, Tax) and play a key part in optimizing and automating our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Process Automation & Development — Participate in projects to optimize and automate accounting and finance workflows — Analyze workloads, prepare data for automation, test and implement new solutions — Assist in configuration and development of financial systems and integrations (specifically Xero) — Document processes, prepare technical instructions, maintain internal knowledge base — Identify bottlenecks and proactively suggest points for optimization 🔹 Accounting & Compliance: — Manage primary documentation in Xero — Record income, expense, and AR/AP transactions accurately — Conduct contractor due diligence (KYC checks) before onboarding new partners — Support payment processing for services (mainly Marketing) — Execute month-end closing control procedures in Xero — Prepare and submit VAT returns for Brazil and Mexico
