You also know the exact moment the fun stops—when you run out of cash, can't find an ATM 🏧, or get hit with massive withdrawal fees. We are building PayMoji, an app that lets travelers ditch the bulky wallets and pay like a local using native QR codes across Southeast Asia 🌏. To make sure it works seamlessly in the real world, we need eyes and ears on the ground 👀👂. We are looking for observant, street-savvy travelers to help us map out exactly how people spend money in the cities you are already exploring 🗺️. *We are looking to work with people in Vietnam and the Philippines but will open soon to Thailand 🇹🇭and Cambodia 🇰🇭. • •Hit the Streets: Go about your normal day, visit cafes ☕, night markets, and local vendors and document the payment experience.
• •Test in the Wild: Use PayMoji to scan local QR codes where you eat, shop, and travel, reporting back on how smoothly (or not) the transaction goes 📲.
• •Map the Market: Help us understand the local cash-versus-digital dynamics. Which vendors accept QR? Where is cash still king? 👑 What are the biggest physical barriers to paying digitally in your current city?
• •Gather On-the-Ground Intel: Observe and document how local merchants react to foreign travelers using local digital payment methods 🤝.

• •💰Earn While Exploring: This is a project-based, freelance role. You do not need to sit at a desk; your "office" is the market, the cafe, or the hostel.
