We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Head of Communications & Public Relations to lead the company’s communications, reputation, and external positioning across the US and LATAM.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the company’s communications and reputation strategy across the US and LATAM.
  • Provide strategic counsel to the CEO and senior leadership on reputation, positioning, messaging, stakeholder engagement, and sensitive business issues.
  • Develop and maintain a clear, compelling, and differentiated corporate narrative across the region.
  • Lead corporate communications, media relations, executive positioning, and external reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier national, business, financial, and industry media across the US and LATAM.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the company’s visibility, credibility, and influence with key external audiences.
  • Lead communications for major corporate announcements, strategic initiatives, partnerships, investments, launches, and other high-profile business developments.
  • Lead communications strategy during crises, reputational issues, and regulatory matters, providing clear recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Build relationships with influential external stakeholders, including government and regulatory authorities, industry organizations, business leaders, and other key decision-makers.
  • Build and lead a high-performing regional communications function, establishing clear priorities, standards, and ways of working.
  • Ensure communications are consistent across the region while being appropriately adapted to local market realities.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading communications across the US and multiple LATAM markets, ideally within a multinational, high-growth, complex, or highly visible organization.
  • Significant experience working directly with CEOs, C-suite executives, boards, senior journalists, and other highly influential stakeholders.
  • Strong track record in reputation management, crisis communications, corporate communications, media relations, and executive positioning.
  • Strong political and cultural awareness, with excellent stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect communications strategy with broader commercial and business objectives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent/native-level English, both written and spoken.
  • Fluent Spanish.
