Head of Frontend Development

Tilda Publishing is looking for a Head of Frontend Development to manage the frontend team, improve processes, and drive product development.

• •Manage the frontend development team — coordinate team work, improve processes
• •Formulate technical vision for product development in frontend and implement it
• •Participate in team expansion and development, conduct performance reviews, onboarding, mentoring of developers and leads
• •Ensure alignment in cross-functional team work, eliminate dependencies and blockers
• •Evaluate, decompose tasks, and manage development timelines
• •Technical elaboration and implementation of complex and architectural tasks in the product
• •Moderate knowledge base and work with technical documentation
• •Improve code review practices, automated testing, and technical design
• •Communicate with the product owner.

• •Experience as a frontend developer for at least 5 years and in a leadership position for at least 3 years (more than 15 developers under supervision)
• •Experience managing team leads: developing developers to lead level, immersing leads in product and processes, professional evaluation of results achieved by team leads in product teams
• •Ability to establish processes and organize work using agile methodologies
• •Experience in hiring (conducting technical interviews, onboarding, mentoring)
• •Expert knowledge of Vanilla JavaScript
• •Experience in cross-browser and adaptive layout
• •Attention to UI/UX, a keen eye for creating user-friendly interfaces
• •Independence, internal maturity, and high communication skills
• •Attention to detail and ability to dive into specifics.
