Key Responsibilities

  • β€’Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records management, employment contracts, and HR documentation.
  • β€’Act as the primary HR contact for Hong Kong employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • β€’Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • β€’Ensure HR practices comply with Hong Kong employment laws and company policies.
  • β€’Support employee relations matters and coordinate with regional HR leadership when necessary.
  • β€’Assist with employee engagement initiatives, culture-building activities, and workplace programs.
  • β€’Payroll, Benefits & Compliance
  • β€’Manage monthly payroll administration and coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
  • β€’Administer MPF contributions, employee benefits, insurance programs, leave management, and related HR operations.
  • β€’Maintain payroll records and employee data in compliance with Hong Kong regulatory requirements.
  • β€’Support annual tax filing processes, employer tax returns, and employee tax documentation.
  • β€’Ensure compliance with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other relevant employment regulations.
  • β€’Partner with Finance and external service providers on payroll, benefits, and employee-related matters.
  • β€’Immigration & Work Visa Administration
  • β€’Manage employment visa and immigration processes for Hong Kong-based employees.
  • β€’Coordinate work visa applications, renewals, extensions, transfers, and cancellations.
  • β€’Liaise with employees, hiring managers, immigration consultants, and government authorities throughout the visa process.
  • β€’Monitor visa validity and ensure ongoing compliance with immigration requirements.
  • β€’Support relocation and onboarding activities for international hires moving to Hong Kong.
  • β€’Maintain accurate immigration records and documentation.
  • β€’Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support
  • β€’Support recruitment activities for Hong Kong-based positions.
  • β€’Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, offer documentation, and onboarding activities.
  • β€’Assist recruiters and hiring managers with sourcing and recruitment administration when needed.
  • β€’Support regional recruitment projects and hiring initiatives across the organization.
  • β€’Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • β€’Office Administration & Workplace Management
  • β€’Oversee daily office operations and ensure a professional, efficient, and well-functioning workplace.
  • β€’Manage office facilities, supplies, equipment, vendors, service providers, and workplace maintenance.
  • β€’Coordinate office access, seating arrangements, visitor management, courier services, and office logistics.
  • β€’Liaise with landlords, property management companies, and external vendors.
  • β€’Support office budgeting, invoice processing, procurement, and expense tracking.
  • β€’Organize employee events, team gatherings, and workplace engagement activities.
  • β€’HR Projects & Regional Support
  • β€’Partner with regional HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and business teams on cross-functional initiatives.
  • β€’Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and operational improvements.
  • β€’Assist with HR reporting, workforce data management, audits, and compliance activities.
  • β€’Contribute to regional HR projects, employee engagement programs, performance management processes, and organizational initiatives.
  • β€’Take ownership of additional HR and operational responsibilities as the Hong Kong office continues to grow.

Qualifications

  • β€’3–8 years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Generalist, Office Management, or related roles.
  • β€’Hands-on experience managing Hong Kong HR operations, including payroll administration, employee benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
  • β€’Proven experience handling Hong Kong employment visa and immigration processes.
  • β€’Strong understanding of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, payroll practices, MPF administration, and employment compliance requirements.
  • β€’Experience supporting recruitment processes and talent acquisition activities.
  • β€’Experience in fintech, electronic payments, digital banking, cryptocurrency, technology, financial services, or other fast-growing industries is strongly preferred.
  • β€’Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory, Cantonese and Mandarin are strongly preferred.
