Description
What you'll do
- โขLead the APAC HR team and HR function.
- โขManage, review and oversee payrolls in 4 countries.
- โขBe the central point of delivery for all recruitment in the region.
- โขOversee any government systems and reporting on the ground in Singapore.
- โขOversee and manage any visa and immigration needs in other countries in the region.
- โขDeliver advice and support across the organisation by providing input into operational people decisions and issues, using a collaborative approach.
- โขActively build effective relationships and partner with employees and managers ensuring a sound understanding of the workforce needs and issues.
- โขContribute to regional and global HR projects, programs and policies, partnering with team members across the globe.
- โขPlay a key role in the delivery of annual initiatives and including the Performance review cycle, development planning and Learning opportunities to ensure a high-performing culture is embedded.
- โขProvide human resources expertise to support effective management of risk and compliance, including legislative requirements, WHS, and return to work.
- โขBe a central point of contact for all our employees for lifecycle support and information.
Requirements
- โขRelevant HR team experience as well as management.
- โขExperience working in an APAC role, desirable if experience in Australia, New Zealand, Korea and/or Japan market.
- โขPayroll experience and attention to detail.
- โขExperienced HR generalist with proven business partnering skills.
- โขThorough working knowledge of employment relations legislation.
- โขDemonstrated success in developing and managing positive stakeholder relationships.
- โขStrong interpersonal skills.
- โขExceptional problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
- โขHigh-level organisational and time management skills.
- โขAbility to conduct research and analysis and apply where relevant.
- โขAbility to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- โขHigh level of initiative with the ability to work independently.
- โขWell-developed verbal and written communication skills.
