IT Engineer

Polychain Capital is looking for an IT Engineer to manage corporate IT systems and support a global team in San Francisco. The role combines technical support with infrastructure planning and security strategy. Polychain Capital, a fast-moving cryptocurrency hedge fund, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Engineer to join our small but growing team. This role is based in San Francisco and blends hands-on technical support with high-level infrastructure planning and implementation.

• •Serve as the primary helpdesk technician, resolving day-to-day IT issues for a global team of technical and non-technical users.
• •Troubleshooting/maintaining Apple endpoints.
• •Provide operational support and strategic guidance for all corporate IT systems.
• •Provision, configure, and manage laptops and mobile devices using MDM tools.
• •Provide AV tech support during webinars, remote meetings, and onsite events.
• •Support domestic and international logistics for hardware shipping and deployment.
• •Collaborate with security and engineering teams to automate IT operations and repetitive tasks.
• •Write and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and process guides.
• •Participate in on-call rotation and provide occasional after-hours support.
• •Continuously improve vendor relationships and IT infrastructure project roadmaps.
• •Support incident response efforts using SIEM/EDR tools.

• •Competitive Compensation: Starting at $110,000 annual salary (dependent on experience) plus eligibility for discretionary annual performance bonus.
