IT Operations and Infrastructure Engineer

Hut 8 seeks an IT Operations and Infrastructure Engineer in Miami to manage IT infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

## What you'll do

• •Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
• •Monitor and maintain infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• •Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
• •Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other critical IT services.
• •Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions.
• •Monitor and manage cloud resource utilization and costs.
• •Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• •Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests.
• •Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures and infrastructure.
• •Implement and enforce IT security policies.
• •Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• •Lead or participate in IT infrastructure projects.
• •Coordinate with other departments to fulfill IT requirements.

• •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• •3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
• •Experience with cloud technologies, servers, and network management.
• •Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
• •Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• •Experience with ITSM applications (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• •Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• •Experience with network technologies (e.g., Fortinet).
• •Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• •Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are preferred.
