Gracia AI is seeking a Java Backend Developer to design and develop backend features for their innovative volumetric video technology. Join a dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects in XR education, sports broadcasting, and entertainment. At Gracia, we are proud to be the first in the world to create photorealistic volumetric videos based on Gaussian Splatting / 4DGS. For the past 2.5 years, we have been building the infrastructure for producing and distributing this new type of content. 4DGS is a new content format where a video can be rendered from any point in space inside it. This is not our first startup: we are building Gracia with an experienced team of ex-Prisma AI people — 150M App Store downloads, #1 AI avatars in 2022 — and ex-netmonet people — exit in 2021, with a valuation of several billion rubles. We are building this company for ourselves: designing it to become a real, full-scale business for real users, not just something to be sold to Big Tech.
What you'll do
- •Design and develop new backend features, including REST APIs and core business logic
- •Integrate our platform with third-party services such as payment providers, analytics systems, and marketing tools
- •Collaborate closely with product and analytics teams to support data-driven decision making, experimentation, and A/B testing
- •Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize service performance and reliability using Grafana and Prometheus
- •Contribute to the improvement of CI/CD processes and cloud-native infrastructure running on Kubernetes
