Java Developer (Senior)

Alfa-Bank is looking for a Senior Java Developer to develop and maintain code according to banking standards, ensuring code quality and completeness of requirements.

• •Development and enhancement of code according to accepted banking/team standards.
• •Ensuring code quality and completeness of requirements.
• •Clarifying requirements, risk analysis, decomposition, estimation, and agreement on expected results.
• •Independently managing tasks from agreed solutions to production deployment.
• •Performing PoC and R&D work to verify approaches within specific tasks/services.
• •Participating in problem-solving in production environments with the support team.
• •Identifying and resolving defects and performance issues (including from load testing results).
• •Interacting with adjacent teams on integrations and technical issues.
• •Participating in maintaining technical documentation for the project; providing technical consultations.

• •Overall commercial development experience in Java of at least 4 years.
• •Confident skills in developing streaming services (on Kafka / Kafka Streams).
• •Experience with object storage (MinIO, S3).
• •Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, YDB).
• •Experience with Kubernetes (understanding basic entities, ability to diagnose deployment and application configuration issues).
• •Experience with containerization tools and understanding of CI/CD at the user level.
• •Experience with REST/SOAP/gRPC.
• •Confident skills in working with Git.
• •Experience in developing high-load systems.
• •Experience applying design principles and architectural patterns.
• •Maintaining clean and readable code, mandatory participation in code reviews, covering changes with unit and integration tests.
• •A plus: experience with Apache Flink, experience in the banking sector.
