A Typical Day
- •Design and build metrics / dimensions to monitor product and business performance.
- •Build sophisticated reporting, analytical tools, and dashboards that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- •Work cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science teams to ensure alignment and leverage synergies.
- •Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- •Contribute towards advancing the Analytics and Data Science disciplines at Airbnb, including driving data best practices such as improving and automating analytical processes, building new data tools and data sets, data education around the company and mentoring and developing others.
- •Actively build and scale AI-first analytics capabilities by integrating LLMs, agent-based workflows, and automation into day-to-day analytical processes.
- •Drive adoption of AI tools across teams by embedding them into business workflows, enabling self-serve analytics and decision support.
- •Stay at the forefront of applied AI developments and continuously evaluate their relevance for solving business problems.

- •Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
- •The base pay range shown below is annualized, is inclusive of allowances and is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
- •This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentives, one or more equity programs, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
- •India Annual Pay Range ₹3,080,000 — ₹4,400,000 INR.
Your Expertise
- •8+ years in industry experience and a degree (Masters or PhD is a plus) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
- •Prior experience in data science, product analytics within a marketplace and pricing / monetization products.
- •Deep expertise in measurement frameworks, metric design, and metric creation.
- •Advanced level proficiency in SQL/NoSQL, programming languages such as Python, R, SAS and Intermediate level knowledge of data foundations and databases like Presto, Hive, Teradata, Spark.
- •Expert with BI tools like Tableau or superset to develop reports and dashboards.
- •Experience leveraging AI to build dashboards, automate repetitive tasks, and empower stakeholders.
- •Familiar with experimentation, causal inference, and LLMs.
- •Robust business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments.
- •Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- •Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions.
- •An agile, growth-minded approach, demonstrated through a history of driving projects from ideation to impact.
