Lead Product Designer, Sportsbook

Magic Eden seeks a Lead Product Designer for their crypto casino and sportsbook platform, Dicey.

This remote role involves shaping the design strategy and mentoring a team, with a focus on sports betting products.

## What you'll do

• •Act as the primary hands-on designer for our sports betting platform, helping translate unique protocol work and novel concepts into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• •Define and drive the overall product design vision and strategy for our sports suite, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and user needs.
• •Lead the design of major features and contribute directly with hands-on work including user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• •Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership to align on roadmaps, prioritize efforts, and ensure a high-quality, cohesive user experience.
• •Elevate the team through mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence through direct feedback, design critiques, and sharing best practices in craft.
• •Establish and refine design processes (e.g., reviews, user research) that fit our fast-paced environment and empower the team to do their best work.

• •7+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of operating at a senior level (e.g., Senior, Lead, or Principal) with experience mentoring other designers.
• •A basic understanding of crypto is required.

You should have a foundational grasp of the space (e.g., how wallets or transactions work) and a curiosity to learn how to design for decentralized platforms.

• •A deep enthusiasm for sports.

A genuine passion for sports betting or the mechanics of sports markets is highly desirable.

• •A compelling portfolio showcasing both exceptional, recent hands-on design work and your ability to lead complex projects.

Your portfolio should reflect a high degree of visual craft and strategic thinking.

• •A builder mindset, with a track record of operating with autonomy and thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• •Proven ability to lead projects that simplify highly complex concepts into delightfully simple and intuitive user experiences.
• •Expert proficiency in Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools.
• •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and build consensus from the team level to the executive level.
