Overview
We are looking for a proactive Middle QA Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in web and backend testing, including API testing and mobile testing. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- •Conduct functional testing of frontend (web) and backend (REST API, WebSocket).
- •Perform mobile testing (web, PWA, APK).
- •Participate in regression testing and release support.
- •Analyze logs and network traffic when investigating defects.
- •Contribute to improving the quality of manual testing and team processes.
Requirements
- •Independent and proactive approach to tasks.
- •3-5 years of experience in testing web and backend (REST API, WebSocket).
- •Understanding of client-server architecture and microservices principles.
- •Experience in API testing (Postman / curl).
- •Basic knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN).
- •Experience with DevTools (Network, Console, Application).
- •Skill in log analysis.
- •Understanding of queue principles (Kafka / RabbitMQ at the interaction level).
- •Understanding of CI/CD and working with git (at the user level).
- •Knowledge of test design techniques.
- •Experience in preparing test data.
- •Experience with traffic sniffers (Charles / Proxyman, etc.).
- •Planning and developing test documentation (checklists, test cases, test plans at the feature level).
