Description
What you'll do
- •Manage and expand merchant acquisition and relationship activities across the Mindanao region, identifying, approaching, and onboarding new merchants from various industries to adopt our payment solutions, including POS terminals, QR payments, and e-wallet services.
- •Build and maintain strong partnerships with merchants across the region to drive transaction growth, retention, and overall satisfaction.
- •Lead commercial discussions and negotiate merchant discount rates (MDRs), service agreements, and other business terms aligned with company objectives.
- •Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Technology, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure seamless merchant onboarding, integration, and ongoing support.
- •Act as the primary relationship manager and escalation point for merchant concerns, operational issues, and service-related inquiries within the assigned regional portfolio.
- •Monitor and analyze portfolio performance across the Mindanao region, including transaction volumes, merchant activity, and revenue growth, while identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling.
- •Conduct regular market visits and business development activities across the Mindanao region to strengthen market presence and merchant engagement.
- •Stay informed on regional market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs within the payments and fintech industry to support strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements
What we expect from you
- •With 2-4 years of experience in business development and account management in different industries.
- •Proven track record of generating leads and supporting client acquisition efforts.
- •Good knowledge and client relationships of fiat payment networks in all industries.
- •Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- •Results-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- •Ability to build and sustain professional relationships, with a strong focus on customer service.
- •High attention to detail and a collaborative team player.
- •Ability to coordinate with international partners and stakeholders.
- •Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback.
- •Ability to speak and understand Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
