Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with deep knowledge of IFRS and international jurisdictions to manage the full cycle of accounting and reporting in a fintech company based in Limassol, Cyprus. We are an international fintech company.
Key Responsibilities
- •Management analytics: monthly project reporting with variance analysis and comments on deviations;
- •Independent IFRS reporting: full cycle preparation of financial statements (BS, IS, CF, notes) for jurisdictions without mandatory audit;
- •Outsourcing control (Quality Control): managing primary documentation, organizing interaction with external accountants, thorough review of outsourcing reports with a focus on consolidated reports for structures in Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, and Cyprus;
- •Banking compliance: preparing detailed responses to bank inquiries regarding the economic rationale of payments (KYC/AML support).

Candidate Requirements
- •Education and Certification:
- •Higher economic/financial/accounting education;
- •ACA/ACCA/CIMA/DipIFR certification is an advantage.
- •Professional Skills:
- •Deep knowledge of IFRS and reporting transformation principles — experience in preparing a full package from scratch;
- •Proficient in 1C:Accounting (advanced level: queries, custom reports, chart of accounts, adjustments);
- •Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Query, slices, complex formulas (SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH);
- •Fluent business English (B2-C1): correspondence, reading financial statements from foreign jurisdictions;
- •Proactivity — ability to solve tasks independently without constant supervision;
- •High attention to detail and stress resistance — working under strict banking deadlines.
- •Additional Advantages:
