This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the financial cycle across the Americas, from close and consolidation through reporting, controls, and compliance.

## What you'll do

  • Own all Americas controllership activities, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, and cash management
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including global consolidation
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages
  • Partner with FP&A to support variance analysis and performance insights
  • Ensure compliance with U.S.

GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements

  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Provide guidance on technical accounting matters and complex transactions
  • Lead external audits end-to-end, ensuring audit readiness and minimal disruption
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and continuously strengthen internal controls
  • Drive ERP and accounting system initiatives (e.g., D365), including process design and adoption
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve close timelines, automation, and scalability
  • Build, mentor, and develop the North America accounting team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations to drive alignment and execution
  • Support or lead ad hoc accounting and finance initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred (MBA a plus)
  • 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and industry
  • Strong technical expertise in U.S.

GAAP and financial reporting

  • Experience managing multi-entity or global close processes, including multi-currency environments
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and scale accounting operations
  • Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives
