FoundryCo, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager/Director to lead our North America controllership function.
This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the financial cycle across the Americas, from close and consolidation through reporting, controls, and compliance.
## What you'll do
- •Own all Americas controllership activities, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, and cash management
- •Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including global consolidation
- •Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages
- •Partner with FP&A to support variance analysis and performance insights
- •Ensure compliance with U.S.
GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- •Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- •Provide guidance on technical accounting matters and complex transactions
- •Lead external audits end-to-end, ensuring audit readiness and minimal disruption
- •Maintain high-quality documentation and continuously strengthen internal controls
- •Drive ERP and accounting system initiatives (e.g., D365), including process design and adoption
- •Identify and implement opportunities to improve close timelines, automation, and scalability
- •Build, mentor, and develop the North America accounting team
- •Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
- •Partner cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations to drive alignment and execution
- •Support or lead ad hoc accounting and finance initiatives
Requirements
- •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred (MBA a plus)
- •8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and industry
- •Strong technical expertise in U.S.
GAAP and financial reporting
- •Experience managing multi-entity or global close processes, including multi-currency environments
- •Proven ability to drive process improvements and scale accounting operations
- •Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives
