Responsibilities

  • โ€ขContribute across the full range of Brand Studio work โ€” campaigns, web, social, and brand initiatives.
  • โ€ขOwn the creative vision for Mercury's growth channels.
  • โ€ขDesign paid ad creative across static, motion, and social formats.
  • โ€ขUse creative testing as a strategic tool.
  • โ€ขPartner closely with growth marketing on campaign briefs.
  • โ€ขDesign for lifecycle marketing: email imagery, landing pages, and other conversion-focused touchpoints.
  • โ€ขArt-direct video and collaborate with production partners.
  • โ€ขBuild scalable creative systems โ€” templates, asset libraries, and workflows.
  • โ€ขContribute to Mercury's brand system as it intersects with growth and performance contexts.
  • โ€ขUse AI tooling in your day-to-day work.

Conditions

  • โ€ขCompetitive base salary and equity (stock options/RSUs).
  • โ€ขSalary ranges for US employees in major cities: $121,700 - $152,100.
  • โ€ขSalary ranges for US employees outside major cities: $109,500 - $136,900.
  • โ€ขSalary ranges for Canadian employees: 115,000 - 143,700 CAD.

Requirements

  • โ€ข5+ years of experience in brand design, art direction, or visual communication.
  • โ€ขA portfolio that demonstrates both craft and strategic thinking.
  • โ€ขProficiency in Figma; motion and video editing experience is a strong plus.
  • โ€ขA genuine point of view on brand.
  • โ€ขA real appetite for creative testing and an analytical mind.
  • โ€ขGenuine fluency with AI as part of your creative practice.
  • โ€ขStrong communication skills.
  • โ€ขExperience with paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn) is a plus.
