Description

Your Role

As Senior Business Recruiter, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact business and operational roles across Alpaca, including brokerage, compliance, finance, go-to-market, strategy, and product functions. You’ll help us scale a global, remote-first organization building brokerage infrastructure and APIs. You’ll partner closely with functional leaders to translate business goals into hiring plans, run a rigorous and candidate-friendly process, and help us attract, assess, and close world-class talent in fintech.

Things You’ll Do

  • •Own full-cycle recruiting for senior and hard-to-fill business roles across Alpaca.
  • •Build proactive pipelines through outbound sourcing, referrals, networking, and talent mapping — especially for specialized fintech profiles.
  • •Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring strategy, drive interview execution, and keep searches moving efficiently.
  • •Deliver a high-quality candidate experience with clear communication, fast feedback, and thoughtful closing.
  • •Advise stakeholders on market dynamics, compensation, leveling, and hiring competitiveness across global markets.
  • •Use recruiting data and funnel metrics to identify gaps, improve conversion rates, and drive hiring decisions.
  • •Improve recruiting processes and infrastructure, including interview training, ATS hygiene, structured interviewing, and scalable documentation.
  • •Help strengthen Alpaca’s employer brand and how we position opportunities to top talent.

Requirements

Who You Are (Must-Haves)

  • •6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including senior-level hiring in fast-paced tech environments.
  • •Demonstrated success hiring for regulated fintech roles (risk, compliance, brokerage ops, tax, finance, legal).
  • •Strong sourcing capability: you’ve built pipelines from scratch and consistently delivered qualified slates for specialized roles.
  • •Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and coach senior leaders while running efficient hiring processes.
  • •Experience building structured and efficient interview processes that improve hiring quality and decision-making.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior candidates and stakeholders professionally and credibly.
  • •Data-literate and comfortable using funnel metrics, ATS reporting, and recruiting analytics to drive decisions.
  • •Experience working in remote or distributed teams across multiple time zones.
