Requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a C++ developer;
  • Knowledge of networking technologies, TCP/IP protocol stack;
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux, experience in developing applications for Linux/Unix;
  • Experience with Docker containers, experience with Git;
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic routing protocols, principles of their operation, technologies and protocols for managing network devices (ARP, BGP, BFD, ECMP, EGP, FRR, IGP, LACP, MC-LAG, RSTP, STP, VLAN, VRRP, VXLAN);
  • Practical skills in using IP routing diagnostics tools, IP packet analysis, generating load on end nodes of the IP network: ping, traceroute, tcpdump, wireshark, iperf, etc.;
  • Practical experience with specialized tools (traffic generators/analyzers) such as IXIA (Keysight)/Spirent/Cisco TRex, etc.;
  • Practical experience with one of the network emulators: VIRL, Cisco PT, GNS3, EVE-NG, and others.
