Senior Game Designer (Metroidvania)

Radiance Games is looking for a Senior Game Designer to join their team for developing a brutal 2.5D Action-RPG/Metroidvania in an urban-punk setting. Strong product mindset and experience in game development are required. We are Radiance Games, an independent game company uniting professionals with years of experience and hit releases in our portfolio. We are forming a team to develop a brutal 2.5D Action-RPG / Metroidvania in an urban-punk setting.

• •Full-time remote work.
• •Market salary paid twice a month with the option to receive in different currencies (amount discussed based on interview results).
• •Stable funding and professional environment: everyone in the company, including founders and management, has experience and successful projects in game development.
• •Join a team of two senior game designers and work equally in a strong, experienced environment.

• •Strong product mindset: contribute to the project, not just complete tasks.
• •Experience in developing games in the genres of Metroidvania, Action, Slasher, Platformer, Fighting, Beat'em Up, and related.
• •T-shaped specialist: strong focus but capable in other areas of game design at a high level.
• •Dislike routine and actively use AI as a daily tool to radically increase work speed and free up resources for quality.
• •Experience working in Unity.
• •Passion for Metroidvanias and action-platformers (e.g., Dead Cells, Hollow Knight, Blasphemous, etc.).

• •Released one or more projects in the Action-RPG or Metroidvania genre as a Senior/Lead designer.
