Senior-Lead Data Engineer

We are looking for a Lead/Senior Data Engineer to build a Data Platform from scratch, focusing on hands-on work and team leadership.

• •Architecture and development of the platform (together with Data Architect):
• •Designing the architecture of Data Platform (DWH + Lakehouse)
• •Choosing technological solutions and tools
• •Participating in approaches to Data Quality, lineage, and monitoring
• •Development:
• •Designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines
• •Developing data marts
• •Implementing ingestion and processing of data in Lakehouse
• •Setting up orchestration and monitoring in Airflow
• •Supporting and developing LakeHouse, DWH
• •Implementing CI/CD practices for data development
• •Documenting development
• •Leadership and team development:
• •Creating a team of Data Engineers
• •Developing competencies, development processes, code review, and implementing engineering best practices
• •Planning the roadmap for platform development
• •Interacting with architects, analysts, and backend teams

• •6+ years of experience in Data Engineering / DWH / Big Data
• •Experience with DBT / Airflow / Spark / object storage
• •Experience in designing Data Platform or its key components
• •Experience in optimizing performance of DWH or Big Data systems
• •Experience in technical leadership (lead / tech lead / playing coach)
• •Understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality principles
• •A plus: experience in building Data Platform from scratch, including MVP
