Senior Ledger Operations Engineer

Gemini is hiring a Senior Ledger Operations Engineer to build and maintain API adapters, design data pipelines, and automate ETL processes.

The role is hybrid, based in New York or San Francisco, with a salary range of $126K–$180K.

## What you'll do

• •Build and maintain API adapters for Gemini trade data
• •Design and optimize data pipelines for ledger operations
• •Automate ETL processes
• •Optimize SQL queries and database performance
• •Contribute to ledger reconciliation processes and reporting
• •Collaborate with third-party vendors and teams
• •Support data processing for blockchain reconciliation
• •Develop data adapters for real-time processing
• •Create data validation processes
• •Develop customized reporting solutions
• •Investigate root causes of exception reports

• •5+ years implementing reconciliation systems
• •Experience with real-time data solutions, data-lake, and data warehousing
• •Advanced SQL skills
• •Experience with gRPC, Websocket, and REST API
• •Expertise in Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Kafka, Apache Flink, Airflow, Hadoop
• •Skilled in Python, Scala, Rust, or Go
• •Experience with MPP databases like Redshift, Timescale, StarRock
• •Extensive ETL and database experience with financial transaction systems
• •Experience with Datadog, cloudwatch, or other monitoring systems
