Overview
Join Maroo as a Senior Product Designer and shape the future of Ditto, a design-driven platform that helps teams manage their copy from design to production. Remote work available across the US and Canada. Ditto helps teams manage their copy from design to production with a single source of truth. Over 3600 teams (from Fortune 500 companies to startups!) currently use Ditto. We believe the words we use in our products are the most powerful tool we have to deliver experiences that convert, educate, and personalize. We’re building Ditto to help turn words into your product’s greatest advantage with a platform that works end-to-end to draft, iterate, and sync product copy from design to development. We’re backed by incredible investors like Y Combinator, Greycroft, Soma Capital, and founders/top operators from Doordash, Kabam, IFTTT, and Pinterest. We’re a fast-moving team, and this role is an opportunity to join an early-stage startup as one of the first team members and directly impact how teams build products.
As an early member of our design team, you’ll be responsible for
- •Defining and designing our core product, from strategy to execution.
- •Shaping the company and our culture by working in the open together with developers and customer-facing team members, sharing intentionally and thoughtfully, and collaborating cross-functionally end-to-end.
Please include in your application
- •A link to your portfolio.
- •A short note about the most interesting or surprising thing you learned during a design or research effort.
We’re looking for people who have
- •Strong product design skills with demonstrable taste and craft, from research and ideation to interaction and interface design, with particular focus on tools supporting complex user workflows.
- •A bias for systems thinking—how people, data, and design solutions flow and relate and fit together.
- •Interest and experience working in developer concepts, tooling, and workflows.
- •Experience working cross-functionally with engineering partners from design to implementation.
- •Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity; able to break down big, hairy problems into actionable, meaningful product solutions.
- •High agency and ownership in driving projects from discovery to delivery.
- •Empathy, humility, and clarity in sharing ideas, giving and receiving feedback, and making decisions.
- •At least 4+ years of experience in a related role.
- •A love and appreciation for words, copy, and writing.
