Join Luxoft as a Senior QA Automation Engineer to support a leading Investment Banking client. Work on a calculation-intensive financial application with a focus on automation and performance testing. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our team supporting a leading Investment Banking client. The role involves working on a highly calculation-intensive financial application with a Windows-based UI and a microservices-based backend. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, an eagerness to learn, and a keen interest in automation and performance testing.
What you'll do
- •Analyze business and functional requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- •Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the existing Java-based Spring Boot, Cucumber BDD automation framework.
- •Validate and enhance automation coverage for new features and requirements.
- •Perform end-to-end API and backend automation testing for microservices-based applications.
- •Execute complex validation of financial calculations, including Large-scale JSON response validations.
- •Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- •Execute performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter for calculation-intensive application components.
- •Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA.
- •Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- •Participate in code reviews and maintain automation scripts in Bitbucket.
- •Continuously improve the automation framework and testing processes.
