Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line support for users.
  • Automate user requests coming through Service Desk.
  • Automate team tasks: diagnose issues and resolve system outages.
  • Address interaction problems with related systems.
  • Install updates.
  • Participate in system development and actively collaborate with development teams to set up monitoring.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical support (L1/L2) or related IT fields.
  • Good understanding of operating systems (Linux): diagnostics, configuration, administration.
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN) and basic network diagnostics skills.
  • Ability to work with monitoring systems and ticket systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Zabbix, Grafana).
  • Scripting and task automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
  • Experience writing and maintaining small utilities/scripts for automating repetitive tasks.
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control systems (Git).
  • Database skills: writing SQL queries, procedures, views, periodic JOBs, etc.; understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of web applications, experience diagnosing UI issues (experience with Chrome developer tools).
  • Ability to read and understand code in JavaScript (UI) and Java (backend).
  • Experience deploying or working with ELK.
  • Ability to document processes and create user instructions.
  • Willingness to participate in periodic on-call duties (24-hour format, in the Moscow time zone).
