What you'll do
- •Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable gaming software on our current gaming platforms
- •Deliver top quality feature rich software on time on budget based on provided design from Architecture
- •Support games through the development and QA test phases and provide support to gaming software in the field
- •Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- •Work with onsite and remote teams
- •Strive for continuous improvement in deepening gaming knowledge, code quality and efficiency, driving game deliveries, and working in a team environment
- •Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
- •Perform peer code reviews
Required
- •Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Computer Science or Game Development related field
- •Strong proficiency in C# and/or C++
- •Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- •Game engine experience, Unity preferred
- •Knowledge of software debugging tools
- •Must be able to pass a security investigation
Preferred
- •Game development experience
- •Experience with Shaders, 3D, physics and Open GL is considered an asset
- •Linux proficiency is considered an asset
- •Familiarity and experience with production deployment and troubleshooting
- •Familiarity with continuous integration and experience with build automation tools like Jenkins
- •Experience with tools, such as Visual Studio, Perforce/Github, JIRA, Collaborator, Cppcheck is considered an asset
