What you’ll do as a C++ Software Engineer Intern at Akuna
- •Work on a variety of high-performance systems that power the firm’s core business operations.
- •Be embedded on small-to-medium-sized teams that frequently interface with Quant and Trading.
- •Focus on a specific domain area while experiencing the day-to-day life of an Akuna software engineer.
- •Ensure systems are reliable, efficient, scalable, and flexible.
- •Work on valuable projects, progressing from ideation and design to delivery and maintenance.
- •Add functionality to existing systems or implement new components.
What We Offer
- •Minimum base salary starts at $145,000.

Requirements for This Role
- •Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in a technical field (computer science/engineering, math, physics, or equivalent).
- •Graduating by August 2028.
- •Legal authorization to work in the U.S. as of the first day of employment, including F-1 students using OPT or STEM.
- •Previous experience in finance or trading is not required.
