Overview
We are looking for a strong Staff Engineer for The Vault, a modern MPC-based crypto custody platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on production code and cross-functional initiatives. We are building The Vault — a modern MPC-based crypto custody platform for institutional and retail clients.
What you'll do
- •Design and implement critical components: policy engine, signing orchestration, key lifecycle, recovery flows, approvals, audit trails, multi-tenant wallet/account services.
- •Build high-load multi-tenant SaaS systems (tenant isolation, rate limiting, backpressure, etc.).
- •Work with distributed systems, reliability patterns, security-by-design.
- •Actively use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) as a core competency.
- •Mentor senior engineers, set patterns, and elevate the overall team level.
