PandaDoc is seeking a Staff Python Engineer for the Document App Track to enhance document creation and management functionalities. Join a remote-first team focused on technical excellence and AI-driven development workflows. Currently, PandaDoc is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to join our Document App Track. The role is part of the Document Domain team, which owns one of the most critical components of our platform — the document itself. While primarily focused on the Document Domain team, this engineer will also have an impact across the area and track level. The team is responsible for the core functionality that powers document creation, editing, and management across the product. The Staff Engineer will contribute to the long-term domain excellence strategy, including AI Transformation of the Development Workflow, and collaborate with other tracks to deliver the best product solutions while maintaining technical excellence.
What you'll do
- •Drive the long term evolution and technical strategy of the Document Domain, balancing product needs, scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
- •Champion AI-driven development workflows, mentoring engineers and improving the effectiveness, quality, and productivity of the engineering organization.
- •Lead cross-team initiatives to deliver best-in-class document capabilities while aligning architecture and engineering practices across the track.
