What you'll do
- •Help translate user interfaces of all Chesscom apps (Chesscom, Chesscom Mobile, ChessKid, ChessKid Mobile, Dr Wolf, etc).
- •Help translate marketing campaigns.
- •Review previously submitted translations and ensure they're high quality.
About the Opportunity
- •This is a freelance role with a variable workload, compensated on a per-word basis.
- •We are 100% remote (work from anywhere!)
Preferred Skills
- •Demonstrated expertise in chess with a deep understanding of its terminology.
- •Proven professional experience in translating complex texts between English and Tamil.
- •Exceptional linguistic knowledge, including a strong grasp of language theory and structure.
- •Native or near-native fluency in both English and Tamil.
- •Excellent communication skills with a high degree of responsiveness.
- •Proven ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
