Overview
Join Game Art Pioneers as a Technical Artist to develop procedural generation tools for level artists using Unreal Engine 5. Work in a hybrid environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities
- •Develop procedural generation tools for level artists based on Unreal Engine PCG Framework
- •Design modular systems
- •Create and maintain procedural pipelines in conjunction with Houdini and Unreal (Houdini Engine, HDA)
- •Develop PCG graphs, custom nodes, and Blueprint tools for environment artists and level designers
- •Create rule-based generation systems
- •Optimize generative systems
- •Maintain technical documentation and conduct internal workshops for the art team
- •Collaborate closely with Environment Artists, Level Artists, Level Designers, and World Builders to gather requirements and iterate on tool development
- •Support and enhance existing tools, bug fixes, R&D of new approaches
- •Optimize and profile the game

Requirements
- •2+ years of experience as a Technical Designer/Artist
- •Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, Nanite, Lumen
- •Experience designing modular systems for environments/architecture
- •Proficient in Blueprints
- •Experience with splines, ISM/HISM, Nanite, World Partition
Nice to Have
- •Experience working on large titles or high-end projects
- •Experience with World Creator, Gaea, SpeedTree
- •Proficient in Houdini and Houdini Engine for Unreal
- •Experience building biomes, foliage systems, terrain pipelines for open world
- •Experience with Perforce and large teams (50+ people)
- •Understanding of optimization and profiling principles on current generation consoles (PS5, Xbox Series)
- •Technical English
