What you'll do

Requirements

  • β€’Proven track record delivering payments or banking integrations (e.g.

PSPs, acquirers, Open Banking, card schemes) with predictable timelines and minimal rework.

  • β€’Strong technical fluency β€” able to work directly with APIs, understand edge cases and failure modes, and turn partner docs into clear, complete requirements.
  • β€’Ability to run complex, dependency-heavy deliveries in ambiguous environments, aligning engineering, compliance, and commercial stakeholders while maintaining control of scope and timelines.
  • β€’Experience making build vs buy decisions and managing vendors against scope, timelines, and SLAs.
  • β€’Ability to translate technical implementation details into customer and product impact (e.g. how routing, retries, or provider differences affect success rates and UX).
  • β€’Experience delivering compliance or regulation-driven changes (e.g.

FCA, scheme rules, PSD2/Open Banking) without stalling broader product delivery.
