Overview

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to assist employees with workplace equipment and software diagnostics, support remote employees, and manage IT assets.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve employee requests related to workplace APM and warehouse equipment, their setup, software and hardware diagnostics.
  • Support remote employees via phone and remote access software (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Dameware, VNC).
  • Modernize and repair IT equipment, manage cabling.
  • Configure IP telephony clients (stationary IP phones and software products like Zoiper/Oktell/MicroSip).
  • Diagnose Wi-Fi and local network environments.
  • Work with Active Directory at a basic level (adding groups, moving objects).
  • Install and configure standardized software.
  • Diagnose and identify issues with Linux/Windows OS at the administrator level.
  • Account for IT assets during issuance, movement, and return of equipment. Write-off of equipment.
  • Interact with contractors for repair and maintenance of equipment, service providers.
  • Receive, process, and escalate tasks in the ITSM system (Redmine), adhere to SLA deadlines.
  • Maintain accompanying documentation in Confluence and Wiki.

Requirements

  • Understanding of network interaction basics: assignment of TCP/IP, DHCP, IMAP, SMTP, FTP, SSH protocols.
  • Ability to use basic network diagnostic utilities: ping, arp, tracert, route, nslookup, ipconfig.
  • Skills in identifying and resolving hardware and software issues on workstations.
  • Understanding of local network and Wi-Fi principles.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, 11/Linux OS and office software at an advanced user level.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2019, basic knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Understanding of warehouse equipment principles (TSD, barcode scanner, barcode printer, cargo measurement equipment).
  • Experience with Jira/Redmine/1C/Confluence.
