Overview
Seeking a VP of Engineering to scale technology organization, drive architectural evolution, and strengthen engineering culture in a leading iGaming SaaS company. Since 2012, our client has been building a scalable SaaS platform along with a range of other digital products, establishing itself as a trusted partner in the market. The company focuses on continuous technological innovation, architectural resilience, and maintaining a high level of autonomy within its engineering teams. The company specializes in developing turnkey and white-label solutions for iGaming operators, integrating best-in-class gaming products, and supporting clients throughout the licensing process required to operate in the iGaming industry. Its deep domain expertise has enabled the successful launch of projects across multiple international markets.
What you'll do
- •Partner with the CTO to define and execute the company's technology strategy
- •Lead an engineering organization of 300+ professionals (15 direct reports), while scaling and optimizing processes
- •Ensure the right balance between delivery speed and solution quality
- •Drive the adoption of best practices in software architecture and engineering excellence
- •Oversee the reliability, security, and scalability of the platform
- •Contribute to product roadmap planning and technical risk assessment
- •Recruit, develop, and mentor engineering leaders

Candidate Profile
- •10+ years of experience in IT, including roles such as Software Engineer and Architect
- •At least 5 years of experience in senior technical leadership positions (VP of Engineering, Head of Development, CTO, or equivalent)
- •Proven experience working with microservices architectures and high-load systems
- •Strong track record of building, scaling, and leading engineering organizations
- •Strategic mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with C-level executives and product teams
- •Solid understanding of security, performance, and reliability principles in distributed systems
- •Hands-on software development background
- •English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to Have
- •Experience in SaaS companies operating high-load or real-time products
- •Participation in designing architecture from scratch or leading large-scale architectural transformations
- •Experience with B2B products in industries such as fintech, gametech, or adtech
- •Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and modern DevOps/SRE practices
