What you'll do
- •Ensure efficient and accurate management of warehouse materials and inventory processes.
- •Maintain stock levels and handle material flows.
- •Support smooth daily operations in line with company procedures.
- •Ensure safe storage of materials in terms of both quality and quantity.
- •Maintain and provide proper inventory records.
- •Initiate purchase requisitions for replenishing regular warehouse stock when levels approach the defined minimum.
- •Take action to stop further purchasing when stock levels approach the defined maximum.
- •Inspect and receive materials delivered by the receiving department and arrange their storage in appropriate locations.
- •Reserve specific materials for particular jobs when required.
- •Issue materials only in required quantities based on approved requisitions/material lists.
- •Regularly reconcile recorded balances with actual stock to ensure internal control and prevent errors, losses, etc.
